    A field video test of the Olympus PEN E-P2 DSLR, featuring tropical plants and flowers. The 14-42mm kit lens and the in-camera microphone were used. The DSLR was hand-held, with no motion-stabilization. Very little color tweaking, the images are pretty much right out of the camera. You'll see that the kit lens is quite capable of macro shots, it gives beautiful bokeh, and there's even a surprise macro shot at the end. Try to guess what it is.

    Today we have a video test of the olympus Micro 4/3's lens. Since the begining of Micro 4/3's people have been looking for a "do all" lens. The standard 14-42 was not enough telephoto and the 45-200 was too big. Olympus has answered the call with the 14-150. This is a small, light-weight, super zoom that can be equipped to any micro 4/3's camera including the Panasonic G2 that was used for this video. Aber nun habe ich eine E-PM1 geschenkt bekommen - und bin denn doch ziemlich verblüfft. Kaum Knöpfe, aber sobald man mal das Menü "Monitoransicht" in den Tiefen des Setups ausgegraben hat, kann die Kamera fix bedient werden - wie 'ne Große - die Bildqualität ist sowieso ohne Tadel und der Fokus ist, sobald auch nur ein bisschen Licht da ist, sauschnell.Wirklich nett finde ich die Möglichkeit, HD-Videos mit 60fps zu drehen - die Zeitlupen kommen extrem schön, da merkt man erst, was einem bei der E-P2 entgangen ist. Die Kamera ist auch bei der Kälte im Augenblick gut zu bedienen, reagiert auch bei Minusgraden ohne Einschränkungen und der Akku hat mich bisher noch nicht im Stich gelassen.Schön ist natürlich auch, dass auch die Kleine den "Dramtic Tone"-Filter hat. Stehen meine Kinder drauf.Einziger Nachteil der Kamera: ich habe sie mit dem 14-42 geschenkt bekommen und muss jetzt zwangsläufig investieren. Das 45er 1,8 ist ein "Muss" und eigentlich steht auch das Voigtländer 25mm 0,95 auf meiner Liste. Das Geschenk wird teuer.... Ich kann zwar bis dahin meine großen FT <b>...</b>
