Third try with my Samsung WB650 or HZ35W in the US. On a walk with the dog. you can see when I zoom out it doesn't adjust the lighting untill I've stopped zooming. It could be because of the sun straight ahead, but I've got no complaints. 15x zoom and HD viderecording in such a small camera is simply amazing.

First try today with my new camera. Samsung WB650 or HZ35W in the US. It's really impressive I think for a compactcamera to have 15x optical zoom. This camera is great. Although it takes a while to focus when fully zoomed the 15x. I'ts not that bad, also when you zoom out again you kan see that the focus and lightsensor doesn't work until you stopped the zoom.

Der CCD-Sensor erfasst Bilder mit einer Auflösung von 12 Megapixeln. Durch den integrierten GPS-Empfänger ist Geo-Tagging möglich. Videos werden mit einer Auflösung von maximal 1280 mal 720 Bildpunkten bei 30 Bildern pro Sekunde aufgezeichnet. Auf der Rückseite ermöglicht ein 3-Zoll großes AMOLED-Display die Bildvorschau. Auch eine HDMI-Schnittstelle ist vorhanden.

Trying out my new Camera. Samsung WB650 or HZ35W in the US. A windy day as you may hear. I really enjoy the 15x optical zoom on it though. This is taken with highest quality video. It takes a while to focus when fully zoomed, but I don't think it's too bad...

Samsung WB650 / WB600
Samsung uvedl na trh dva nové ultrazoomy WB600 a WB650. Ty nahrazují nynější modely WB500 a WB550. Do vínku dostali objektiv s 15× optickým zoomem od extrémně širokoúhlých 24 mm. WB650 potěší i vestavěnou GPS, 3,0" AMOLED displejem a oba mají i HD videosekvence. Starší 10× ultrazoomy Samsung WB500 a WB550 byly nyní nahrazeny dvojicí nových přístrojů Samsung WB600 a WB650. Oba mají 12MPx snímač blíže neurčené úhlopříčky. Dle reálných ohnisek se poněkud obávám, že půjde o miniaturní 1/2,5" čip, ale je možné, že bude trochu větší (např. 1/2,33"). Přepočtené ohnisko je totiž 24 mm v obou případech, jenže reálné je 4,2 mm u WB500/WB550 a jen 3,9 mm u WB600/WB650. To napovídá, že u nových přístrojů bude snímač s větším crop faktorem, a tedy menší úhlopříčkou.
