Follow me on twitter: twitter.com Unboxing the Sony Alpha 55 - 200 telephoto zoom lens (DT55-200mm SAL55200-2). Hands on and first look of this 55-200 SAM (smooth autofocus motor) f4 - 5.6 crop lens with my Sony Alpha a33 dslr camera, using in-body stabilization (Super Steady Shot), continuous autofocus and built-in microphone. It is an a-mount lens with circular aperture and comes with a lens hood. May do a review in the future. This lens' closest rivals are the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 II USM as well as their EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS Lens and Nikons 55-200mm f4 - 5.6 Zoom Lens With Vibration Reduction (AF-S DX VR). Within Sony compatible lenses, the Tamron 55-200mm f4-5.6 and their 75-300mm as well as a used Minolta Beercan is its rivals. The Sony a33 SLT (Single Lens Translucent) competes with the canon t2i (Rebel 550d), and the t3i (Rebel 600d) as well as the Nikon d3100. AMAZON DE www.amazon.de Kundenrezensionen: "Seit einiger Zeit war ich auf der Suche nach einem Nachfolger für meine in die Jahre gekommene Canon S3 IS "Bridge", ein treuer Begleiter für viele Jahre, aber die 6MP Auflösung bei Bildern und 640 x 480 bei Videos ist mir einfach zu wenig geworden. Ich glaubte erst, mein Glück mit der Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100EGK Digitalkamera (14 Megapixel, 24-fach opt. Zoom, 7,5 cm (3 Zoll) Display, Bildstabilisator) schwarz gefunden zu haben, auf dem Papier eine "Eierlegende Wollmilchsau", in der Praxis wegen der inakzeptablen Bildqualität für mich unbrauchbar - Rauschen wie im Blätterwald. ;)Durch Zufall stieà ich auf einen Test der Sony SLT-A33, gute Noten in allen Bereichen und durch die SLT-Technologie auch eine brauchbare Live-View- und Videofunktion und hohe Serienbildgeschwindigkeit. Für eine gute Bildqualität würde ich auch auf den gröÃeren Zoombereich einer "Superzoom" verzichten. Die 2 MP mehr Auflösung und GPS waren mir den Aufpreis für die groÃe Schwester SLT-A55 nicht wert.---ERSTER EINDRUCK---Das Gehäuse wirkt hochwertig und liegt gut in der Hand. Die Kamera ist nicht mit Buttons überladen und die Anordnung der einzelnen Knöpfe ist gut durchdacht, nur der Videoknopf könnte leichter erreichbar sein, meine Hände sind allerdings auch relativ klein. I am NOT a new photographer to Sony, since I have an Alpha 100 with 18-70 and 75-300 lenses that I've had for over five years. However, some issues came up during a recent trip out west, and I was in the market for something upgraded. I had seen the SLT-A57 up close and personal, and knew that it was the camera that I wanted. I also wanted the 55-200 lens.When I found this kit on Amazon, I knew that it was the one for me. But like I said, I was a little skeptical since sometimes an ad promises a number of items, and when you look closer, they're in opened packages, are older stock, or actually a non-name-brand item. That is NOT the case in this kit. The camera with 18-55 lens came totally unopened, with all the usual tags on the items. Same for the 55-200 lens -- totally factory fresh and the latest version (a SAL55200-2). I didn't expect the battery to be Sony, and it ISN'T. But it's 2000ma instead of the 1600ma with the Sony label. So I'm not at all disappointed.Today I got my Fedex package with all items included just like the ad said. And bubble wrap totally surrounded everything so there was no chance for damage. WOW!! I ordered five days ago, and two of the days were over the weekend. Exceptional service <b>...</b>
