Shooting The Glock 19 At Gander Mtn Academy Lake Mary Florida
On July 8th 2011 I went shooting at the new Gander Mtn Academy in Lake Mary, Florida. To say I had a great time would be an understatement. From the time you enter until the time you leave safety is #1. This is a first class operation. They offer live shooting,two forms of virtual shooting,ccw classes,instruction on hand guns ,rifles from beginners to advance. The staff is friendly and most are Law Enforcement or Ex-Military. The air filtration system at the academy's live fire range is awesome. At most gun ranges when you leave and blow your nose you will see the black gun powder residue on your tissue,that did not happen here. Some of the things I liked about the live fire range: The walls between the shooting lanes are bullet proof to withstand a 50 cal. BMG round. The lanes also are very wide. You have a computer active key pad that sends your target down range and you can program for different target interaction. The Lighting is very nice. You can shoot double taps, rapid fire and yes full auto fire too. I was told someone showed up with a machine gun that was belt fed,sure wish I had been there to see that. All of this can be done as long as you can show that you can handel your weapon, if not you may get a tap on the shoulder from your friendly Range Master who is behind the shooters checking for safety and assisting the shooters with any question or problems that may arise. Your targets and backing are free with your hourly rate of $25 which allows 2 shooter in <b>...</b>

Sanyo VPC-CG20 unboxing
This is the very new pocket HD camcorder from Sanyo, filmed with a Kodak Zi8. As Zi8 cannot focus between 6 inches to 3 feet, I let it wear a +2x reading glass. As you can see, the reading glass made the Zi8 focused very well around 12 to 22 inches. Based on my test, CG20's video quality is not as good as Zi8's; its 1080@60 looks more like Zi8's 720@60 - not on par with Zi8's 1080@30, and recorded red looks not so red.
