  • SANYO XACTI VPC-CS1 unboxing video

I open up and show off my new camera. It's a Sanyo Xacti VPC-CS1. At this time, I think it's the world's thinnest HD camcorder. It shoots in 1080p and takes 8MP stills. Check out the following link to see quick a video a shot with the camera. www.youtube.com So far I'd say it's a great buy for it's price. The only downside I would say is that the low-light image quality isn't too great. This video was recorded on my iPhone 3GS by the way.

  • Sanyo Xacti VPC-CS1 issue with 1080p recording

This shows an issue I found regarding the 1080p 60fps recording. I have no issues with 1080p 30fps though. Also all the videos I have upload were recorded in 60fps and seemed to come out fine in Youtube, this makes it a minor issue for me and not a deal breaker. This could also be an issue with my computer's capability to handle playing 60fps video so take this review with a grain of salt. That said, I hope this video can be useful in deciding whether or not this camera is for you.

  • Sanyo Xacti VPC-CS1 Camera review

I got this camera to replace my old Sanyo VPC-CG10 that went MIA. Based on the stats from the Sanyo site, and knowing it was in the same general product line I expected to be getting a better camera than what I had. While technically a better camera, and having a higher resolution. The quality of the image sensor appears to be worse, making everything I record with it have some lines and grainy-ness to it. It no longer has the buttons on the grip and relocated them to the LCD panel, and made them significantly smaller than before. Look for a review coming to www.thenoc.tv

  • First Video w/ My New Sanyo Xacti VPC-CS1 Dual Camera

Pretty dope camera. About the same size as the Flip Mini HD but this one shoots Full HD at 1920 x 1080 60i/30p while the flip mini only does 720p. not bad for a little camera right? haha this is going to be my daily camera since it gets pretty bulky when carrying around a DSLR camera everywhere i go. yezzur

  • Sanyo Xacti VPC-CS1 Indoor and movement Test

I had a friend take some footage of a game. He is using the camera for the first time so please consider this fact as you look at the video. The fact that the camera is very light, you will have to adjust it holding it firmly. The camera seems to be able to handle movement decently. Moving the zoom in and out too fast from one extreme to another will cause the camera to have difficulty with autofocus. The Gym was not very brightly lit so it looks like the camera does very well with adjusting its sensitivity to light (ISO) to an appropriate level. The camera does a decent job following fast moving targets once it finds the proper focus. The Audio capture performance, in my opinion, was great. On this test I am pretty satisfied with what the camera can do if you consider what you are getting for the price.

  • Sanyo Xacti VPC-CS1 LED Spotlight Test in the dark- Indoors

Taken inside a Walk-in Closet. Not really a good test since it is an enclosed area wherein light cannot travel much. The distance between the target and the camera ranged from approximately 12 inches to 5 feet. You will notice that the target's visibility gets pretty bad even if it is only 5 feet away. I expect this to be worse when I am in a bigger room or if I am outdoors. This video is just to exhibit the feature, and is not meant to knock the product. I still love the camera. This feature is a "nice to have" and nothing more.
