Objektivet Nya 10-24mm är super eller som dom säger i tjuren färdinan filmen honom ska jag ha!!!!

Nikon Asia is delighted to present this showcase of four exclusive HD video clips in an effort to contribute to the vibrant and growing pool of HD videos created by digital-SLR camera enthusiasts today. Working with photographers Paul Daly and Giora Dan, the latest two videos "Perfect Coffee" and "Southern Island Adventure" were shot with the Nikon D7000 with the aim of exploring HD video on DSLRs beyond still image photography. "Southern Island Adventure" For Southern Island Adventure by Paul Daly, its storyline follows three adventure sports -- mountain biking, kayaking and paragliding. Each has a connection with either earth, water or air and was the fundamental reason Paul chose to film the sports. Paul "I decided that I wanted to capture the movement and give the viewer a feel for what was actually going on. Hence there would be a lot of movement. This was achieved by mounting the camera directly onto the mountain bikes, kayaks, paragliders, booms, sliders, glide-cams and even handholding it to give a more organic feel to the video." "Perfect Coffee" Created by Giora Dan, the clip is built around coffee addiction. It starts with an empty coffee cup and ends the same way to indicate the "fix" is only temporary and another journey will follow. Watching this clip takes you from the grey city into the countryside as the driver searches for the "perfect" coffee. Giora "Coffee was a great challenge to shoot. My most vivid memory was filming the car between two concrete slab buildings as a 6.3 earthquake struck New Zealand's third largest city, Christchurch." As recently as a few years ago, before Nikon learned to mass produce aspheric elements, manufacturing this complex 14 element lens at reasonable cost would have been impossible. Compared to the earlier 12-24mm, significantly wider angle.A nice suprise is that this DX lens can also be used FX, with some limitations of course. Although it will give the full zoom range only when used on the smaller DX format, it actually covers the frame of an FX camera - not over the full range but from 24mm down to about 18mm focal length, with acceptable vignetting (edge darkening). I am using it that way on my film Nikon F6 and digital D700. (For the D700, turn the DX Crop default OFF and turn the Vignette Control to HIGH.) This is pretty cool because it means that someone who wants only occasional use of an 18-24mm lens on a full frame camera does not have to go out and buy a new lens if they already have this one.I disagree with the reviewers who complain about the plastic, Made in China construction. If this lens were made of brass and steel like a Leica, it would weigh twice as much, cost much more, and be no better photographically.
