    I was out photographing the ice and sea smoke today and tested a little video as well. Will go out mainly for video later on if the cold continues. -24 Celcius today, so quite cold out there. It was a bit windy, and the tripod wasn't standing on sturdy ground, so the camera shook a bit while recording.     Rented a Pentax K-5 over a week for a test run. Footage was taken at the Municipal Rose Garden in San Jose, CA and the Mary Avenue bridge in Cupertino, CA. Lenses used were the smc-Pentax DA* 16-50mm f/2.8 ED AL [IF] and the Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Di AF Macro. Source footage was recorded at 720p 30p; most were conformed to 23.98p. Smoothcam was applied to clips with panning and tracking. 3-way CC applied only to increase contrast. Music is piano3_002 by propanmode

    A live performance of Jesse Bolt playing one of their original songs "Bus Driver". The venue was Amos' At The Lake in Cornelius, North Carolina on March 19, 2011. Scott Board (lead vocals) Don Stacy (lead guitar) Keith Stacy (rhythm guitar) Jeff Berry (lead guitar) Greg Berry (drums) Craig Hatley (bass guitar) From North Carolina, the band Jesse Bolt originally formed in 1974. They were going to name the band BOLT, but at the time, two word names were popular; such as Alice Cooper, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Lynyrd Skynyrd etc. Therefore they searched for a tough sounding name and liked the sound of Jesse, similar to Jesse James who was known as an American gunslinger. So they put the two names together and came up with Jesse Bolt. From 1975 till 1981 they performed live shows, mostly in the eastern United States. They took a step out of the scene for six years and reunited again in 1987. Jesse Bolt played countless live shows opening for U2, AC/DC, Black Sabbath and Molly Hatchet. In 2000 they recorded their first CD with eleven of their original songs. During this period, few bands released albums with the 70'S and 80's style of hard rock and Jesse Bolt saw a huge potential to bring that style back again. The music on their CD "The Revelation" was recorded in 3 hours and on the second take. So you are hearing pretty much what the band sounds like live, according to their guitar player Keith Stacy.
