steady with tripod ( canon 550d with 50mm 1.8 movie testing )
i am using tripod to change a steady cam :) with handle the neck of tripod. this video take with canon 550d with High Definition movie maker. it just handle with hand. i use 1280* with 50fps actually the original is abiut 119mb. but i convert in to flv now is about 3mb at least. Minipods don't give great results with bridge super-zoom cameras and tripods are great for static situations. This falls between the two, you get reasonable stability for long zoom work with the advantage of mobility.
